What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

We had a fantastic day with this company - extremely knowledgeable, fun and fabulous people, we actually had THE 'Canyon Dave' on our tour in March this year along with his protege Rachel who was lovely. Well worth the money and definitely recommended.

This was out first trip to the Grand Canyon and our first tour of the trip so we did not know what to expect. Our guide Richard could not have been any better. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond our expectations. He explained the geology of the g as we did not get backrand canyon in a very comprehensive manner. He also pointed out the various plants and vegetation. He stopped the van at various times when we came across elk so we could take pictures. He did not rush us when we made our varous stops to take pictures. At the end of the day he took us to the visitors village. I believe he spent extra time as we did not get back to our hotel until 6 PM. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Can't say enough good things about this tour.

The company offers a half day or full day tour. We took the half day tour and it was fantastic. Knowing very little about geology, our guide, Dora, educated and facinated us without overburdening or boring our neophyte brains while showing us the wonderful views of the Canyon. Highly recommend this tour.
