Overview

The West Rim of the Grand Canyon has much to offer and this tour allows you to see it all! Enroute to the Grand canyon, make a brief stop for a photo opportunity of the Hoover Dam from the bypass bridge. Once at the canyon, you'll have 3 hours to take in magnificent views from both Eagle Point and Guano Point. Brave the glass skywalk which spans 700 feet over the floor of the Canyon and nearly 4000 feet above the ground (available to purchase). This tour includes both a light continental breakfast and optional lunch as well as hotel pick up and drop off from most local hotels.

Guests are encouraged to remain distant from the Canyon edges as there is no fencing defining the edges at Eagle Point and Guano Point. In addition, masks maybe required to be worn whenever inside of buildings and prior to boarding the shuttle busses.

Grand Canyon West

Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas and head to the Grand Canyon's west rim - home to the world-famous Skywalk. Your tour begins with a brief stop at the Hoover Dam for a photo opportunity and amazing view of the Dam and Bypass Bridge. After a relaxing bus ride through the 900 year old Joshua Tree forest, you will arrive at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Once here, you will receive a ticket for lunch and your shuttle ticket which will allow you to move about the canyon very easily. You will have approximately three (3) hours to explore here on your own.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

Your first stop will be Eagle Point. Here, you can step out onto the glass skywalk, a U-shaped glass deck that extends 70 feet beyond the rim of the Canyon giving you a full view of the 4,000 foot drop to the Colorado River below. The views from here are nothing short of spectacular and be sure to spot the eagle in the facing rock. Also at Eagle Point is a Native American Village which displays many tribal homes and depicts the lifestyle of the local natives and you can watch cultural activities such as performances by Indian dances in the amphitheater. This is an optional upgrade that you can select upon checkout.

Guano Point

From here, you can make your way to Guano Point with even more spectacular views over the Colorado River. You can hike the trail here which leads to the highest point where the scenic vantage offers a majestic view of the Colorado River or just simply relax and enjoy the peacefulness of Grand Canyon West whilst enjoying a hot meal with stunning views!

Had a great time on this tour. It is incredibly convenient as you get dropped off / picked up from your hotel. The tour guide we had (I believe his name was Anthony - or Awesome Anthony as he liked to tell us) was really fun and engaging, as well as having the knowledge required to tell us all about where we were headed and the surroundings as we passed through them on the tour. We stopped off at the hoover dam on the way, which broke up the journey and we had a convenience stop. Spent three hours at the Grand Canyon (which is more than enough time is you manage your time correctly) and then the journey home (which also consisted of a convenience break). Would defiantly do this tour again if I wanted to visit the Grand Canyon - and would recommend to anyone especially if you don’t really know what you’re doing / if this is your first visit. My only fault with this tour was the food - the ‘breakfast’ consisted of 2 small muffins, some breakfast biscuits and a banana. And then the lunch option at the Grand Canyon was diabolical for vegetarians - if your veggie I would recommend taking your own food! Also RE the photos I’ve uploaded - we got freak hailstone weather while we were there.

The tour was amazing! We had an excellent tour guide in Anthony who drove the Awwwesome bus no. 25. The Grand Canyon tour is by far one of the most amazing things I have done. The only downside to the tour was that you don’t get a proper view of the hoover dam, which I would advise you book separately so you get to see it properly. Other than that the tour operators were well organised on time and gave us great advice on the day, which we followed and it ensured we got to see everything and return back to the coach on time. I strongly recommend this tour if you are visiting Las Vegas. Thanks Sweet Tours!

I don't normally complain but I feel I its necessary after our experience with Sweet tours. Right off the bat when we are all on the bus we find out the bathroom is not working. Of course the bus driver doesn't tell us until after two people have already used the bathroom and now we have this foul stench to deal with for the duration of our trip. #2 - the bus driver tells us she is short 3 skywalk passes and basically can't figure why she is short the passes and tells the passengers that its coming out of her pay if she can't find the passes. Basically, insinuating that the passengers on the bus are holding the missing passes not thinking that maybe Sweet tours made a mistake and did not give her correct amount of skywalk passes which is what happened. #3 Also, we did not get dropped off at our hotel where we got picked up in the morning. We stayed at Harrah's and the bus driver dropped us off at Caesars so we had to walk to our hotel. Apparently, there were no shuttle drivers available to drive us to the hotel so bus driver had to dropped everyone off. All I can say from experience was Sweet tours was terrible. I would recommend going with different travel tour. Now the vacation to the Grand Canyon to the West Rim was worth it. Unbelievable views and I recommend the skywalk. They don't allow you to take photos on the skywalk. They have photographers on the skywalk to take your photos and you can purchase them in the gift shop $5-6 per photo.
