What To Expect

BrushBuck Wildlife Tours

After early morning pickup from your Jackson Hole hotel, your naturalist guide takes you into Grand Teton National Park. Even in the quiet of a snowy winter, wildlife can be spotted in the park and your guide knows where to look for animals. On any given day, you could see moose, bison, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, bald eagles, golden eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, or even wolves as you explore the park. At midday, come in from the cold to enjoy lunch in the famous western cowboy town of Jackson, Wyoming. After lunch, head back outside for a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge. Snap social media–worthy pics of the large herds as your guide explains how the elk migrate from the surrounding area to the refuge, a 24,700-acre (9,996-hectare) winter sanctuary to 47 different mammals and nearly 175 species of birds such as trumpeter swans and bald eagles. At the end of a memorable 8-hour tour of this winter wonderland, your guide returns you to your hotel where your tour ends.

A++++ Did this tour with my 13 year old year daughter today. Kelsey was PHENOMENAL! She’s friendly, informative, bubbly, and just the perfect person to spend an 8 hour tour with. She went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the wildlife, took pics, and kept you engaged the entire tour. The tour was fantastic and seeing the animals in their natural environment was worth every cent. Do not hesitate to take this tour and tell Kelsey I sent you! :)

Took a half day wildlife near the Grab Tetons with 3 friends. I was hesitant to book since it was $550 for 4 of us and wasn’t sure if we’d really see anything. It was definitely worth it though! Neil was our guide and was amazing. He was enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable and accompanied. I would recommend asking for him. He picked us up in a very clean van equipped with binoculars for each of us. There was also pop, water and small bags of chips provided. We saw a variety of wildlife and Neil’s information on them was what made the tour. He also had a telescope and tools pictures through it which he emailed us. Tour was just under four hours and he dropped us back our our house. I should also add that the individuals working in the office were friendly and accommodating as well.

Overall great experience. Our guide (Kyle) was very knowledgeable and experienced. Definitely recommend the tour.
