BrushBuck Wildlife Tours
After early morning pickup from your Jackson Hole hotel, your naturalist guide takes you into Grand Teton National Park. Even in the quiet of a snowy winter, wildlife can be spotted in the park and your guide knows where to look for animals. On any given day, you could see moose, bison, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, bald eagles, golden eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, or even wolves as you explore the park. At midday, come in from the cold to enjoy lunch in the famous western cowboy town of Jackson, Wyoming. After lunch, head back outside for a horse-drawn sleigh ride at the National Elk Refuge. Snap social media–worthy pics of the large herds as your guide explains how the elk migrate from the surrounding area to the refuge, a 24,700-acre (9,996-hectare) winter sanctuary to 47 different mammals and nearly 175 species of birds such as trumpeter swans and bald eagles. At the end of a memorable 8-hour tour of this winter wonderland, your guide returns you to your hotel where your tour ends.

What a fantastic tour I had. My tour guide Evan went above and beyond to show me the wildlife in Jackson Hole and Grand Teton's, seeing I was the only guest on the tour he was able to take the time to find and scope out the wildlife he was just great, very knowledgeable and he knew where and just when to spot the animals! I was so lucky to be able to see the Moose so close up they came right up to the vehicle! It was a fantastic time and it was the highlight of my trip! I would recommend BrushbuckTours to anyone who is considering to see the wildlife it was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Evan!

My wife and I were passing through Jackson and only had a half day to see the wildlife in the area before continuing on to West Yellowstone. I run a wildlife intensive boat tour back in FL so we decided to book a local guide to help with the experience. We booked a 3hr private tour and could not have been more happy. The guide was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. He asked what we wanted to spot and took us from look out to look out and had no problem with locationing what we were after. Elk were everywhere but moose and big horns required local knowledge. We ended up seeing dozens of bighorn sheep, including some breeding. Thousands of elk, several hundred bison a few mule deer and 19 moose. We will be back.

What.a fantastic day we had. We were fortunate to have Kari as our guide and just the two of us for the trip even though we had booked a public tour. Kari is extremely knowledgeable about wildlife, geology and history of the Tetons and Jackson. We were so happy to see Moose and Bison/Buffalo in their natural habitat along with bald eagles, and other birds. The Elk at the Refuge were stunning. We were picked up promptly from our accommodation and supplied with juices/water, muffins for breakfast. The scenery around Jackson and the Teons is amazing, stunning is an understatement. We would highly recommend this tour with Brushbuck, worth every penny. We were so fortunate to see the animals we did, with nature, you can’t guarantee seeing what you want to see, so even if we just saw a mouse (which we did) on the whole tour, we would have been more than happy. A fantastic day and would definitely recommend.
