Hang Gliding at altitude is the closest thing to soaring like a bird. In some senses it's the purest form of aviation. Going up to 2000' above the ground is one of the most unique ways to see the Outer Banks. At 2000' you'll be amazed at how fragile the barrier islands look. The quiet of air will be both exhilarating and peaceful at the same time.

Your first time flying in a Hang Glider should definitely be near where the Wright Brother's learned to fly.

Up in the air flying with the kite/hang Gliding! I had been wanting to do this for a long time, but never had been to a location that provided the means to do it.

My wife had her first hang-gliding experience with Kitty Hawk Kites and their tandem 2000' offering. From start to finish the team was incredible. Their experience and expertise makes you feel safe and focus on having fun. The view of the Outer Banks from the glider is breathtaking. We highly recommend it. The runway is on-site at Sanctuary Vineyards, which is definitely worth a visit after your flight.
