This tour was a great way to see Atlanta, learn some local history and eat some fantastic food! Akila was friendly, professional and informative. All of the food was delicious, and I wish we were in Atlanta longer to go back to some of these spots for a full meal, so do this trip early in your visit so you can use the coupons!

Akila was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing at each stop and you get plenty of food to sample. The best part was the history of the city that Akila shares as you walk the streets. You can tell she loves Atlanta and you feel like a part of it as well. If I return I absolutely would do this tour again. It gives you the history of atlanta & the south and the bonus is not just eating the food but understanding how it is apart of atlanta's heritage. Wonderful tour & excellent guide.

Akila, the tour guide, both informed us about Atlanta's history and took us to some great restaurants. Akila was both super knowledgeable and friendly. The tour took place around downtown Atlanta, where we got to eat and sample foods at 8 different restaurants. The shrimp and grits that we tried were amazing. I eat a relatively large amount, so I wasn't sure about the portion sizes prior to the tour, but I can assure you that I was very full afterwards. At some restaurants, we had actual dishes and at others we tried tea or ate some kale chips. I don't live in Atlanta, so this food tour was a great way to kill two birds with one stone - learn about Atlanta's history and try some great southern food.
