I just completed the Atlanta Downtown Southern Food Walk. Our guide and host Akila was an amazing guide. She is very knowledgable of Atlanta and southern history. The food was exceptional at all the venues we visited. We even stumbled onto a filming of a popular Atlanta television series! I had a wonderful time. I would recommend this tour to anyone, local or visitor, who wants a more intimate view of the southern food scene in Atlanta.

Myself and my mother traveled to Atlanta. We wanted to get a taste of great food, and we certainly did! Akila was an amazing tour guide, she was extremely knowledgeable in both food and Atlanta history. All questions were answered and Akila made sure everyone was able to get home safely. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Atlanta for the first time. Thanks Akila, we had a great time!!

Akila was a great tour guide. My husband and I had never been to Atlanta, so it was great to learn about the city and its history while enjoying the wonderful food. There are seven stops on the southern food tour and we were definitely full by the end. There is quite a bit of walking, which didn't bother us, but if you have difficulty walking long distances (about 2 miles, but broken up in shorter intervals), this may not be the tour for you. All in all, a great day! Thanks Akila!
