Traveling with friends who visited the Archway Museum 12 years ago and wanted to take their younger children this time and we came along. Was an amazing museum packed into a relatively small venue but so full of history. It’s self guided with headsets. Staff very helpful and some dressed as pioneers as you enter. Lots of parking even for RV’s. Very kid friendly highly recommend its right on I80.

What a surprise this was for us, much better That we thought it would be to see. The History was covered from 1840’s - Lincoln Hwy, to Yellowstone... Pioneers and their can do spirit, Pony Express, Rail Road, Lincoln High Way, and on to Yellowstone. Excellent exhibits w/audio narrative. Easy to park a Big Rig Truck or RV. With a very nice park for a picnic. Worth a stop to see šŸ‘

Absolutely awesome portrayal of history of Kearney and movement of Americans westward. Well worth listening to every stop but young kids won't have the patience. The exhibits are also numerous and well worth reading. So much to learn particularly the Eisenhower Interstate System. Gift shop also had lots of neat things.
