Inside each bar, you’ll relax and have time for a drink as your tour guides weave fantastic tales of the history of the establishment and of some of the greatest authors who have hung out, drank and written there- writers who helped shape both the village and the world. Along the way you’ll stop at unique sites that are literary, historical, or alcoholic in nature. Unique idea and well executed. I went with my boyfriend. We both enjoyed it. He is a big reader and was very into the history. I am less of a reader and I enjoyed the fun facts about the authors. The tour guides were funny and engaging. I would recommend this to anyone who is a big reader or likes NYC history.

I had an excellent time celebrating my 40th birthday with 20 of my closest family and friends. It was extremely easy to set up; the person I worked with was exceptionally friendly and flexible and responded very quickly to my queries. The day of the crawl, things worked out amazingly smoothly. Our guides--Devin and Justin--were knowledgeable, entertaining, engaging and very funny My entire group had an excellent time. We learned a lot, drank a little more, and had an excellent time doing it! Highest recommendation!! Thank you!!!

A really fun tour. It covers some of the lesser known writers as well of some of the more famous ones and the guides were knowledgeable and engaging. Would definitely recommend it.
