What To Expect
1
Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.
2
The Stonewall Inn
The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

This tour was fun, had good food, good variety, and gave a little history too. Dante, the tour guide, has a great personality and is easygoing. He interacted greatly with the youngest (10 years old) in the 12 person group and kept an easy walking pace which included many breaks. This is not a strenuous or demanding tour but does include a lot. Definitely smart to include this tour as part of your exploration in NYC!

Dante was a phenomenal tour guide. What a wonderful way to get to know the neighborhood! Perfect balance of food, culture and history. Would recommend to any foreigner or even local trying fit in some of the best bites in the city in just a few hours.
