What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante is great.I have never tasted such great pizza and fries.I am not a huge fan of falafel.I enjoyed the coffee store and the cupcaks were delicious.Dant is a great guide and knows his stuff.

My friend and I just did this tour on a Friday afternoon. The guide was friendly, knowledgable and we just had a great time. The pace is perfect and the quantity of food was more than enough. Our favourite was the artichoke pizza....wow! I would recommend this activity to all my friends visiting NY.

I recently got married and this was a little trip to NYC with my wife and in-laws. Dante was an incredible guide who provided not only details about each food stop with its respective history, but also very interesting stories about the neighborhood and city itself. During one of the stops that had an amazing hot sauce we decided to purchase, Dante even secretly got the rest of the tour members (we did not know them) to chip in to purchase a bottle for us as our wedding gift! It was a small gesture but went a long way and touched our hearts. The name of this food tour company could not be fitting enough and we greatly enjoyed even casual conversations with Dante - an amazing and genuine guy. This tour is highly recommended to anyone visiting NYC - you will not be disappointed and you will definitely not go hungry...even in the middle of the tour!
