What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante is an awesome guide. He is so knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood, and of all the food we sampled. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we left stuffed. This was the best food tour I’ve taken by far.

Dante was everything we were looking for in a tour guide. He is so passionate about food, imparting knowledge about the area and pleasing people. The food, good for vegetarians, was so yummy and filling. We gained an appreciation for all that Greenwich Village has to offer, including free entertainment in Washington Square Park. I am sorry that we can only give Dante five stars. He easily deserves ten! Fran C

We had a lovely time, great host who cares passionately about his tour, was interested in his customers, provided delicious food in significant quantity, knowledgable and funny - he covered the history of Greenwich village in an interesting and informative tour. Really happy with our experience and would commend it to others.
