Arizona ATV Adventures
The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We had an incredible experience on our ATV tour during our family girls trip! We were able to see some of the most beautiful mountain views! Michael was truly the best guide we could have hoped for! He made all of us so comfortable for our first time riding ATVs. He was helpful in providing driving tips, route suggestions, and great picture locations! He definitely made our tour memorable and exciting! This experience was the highlight of our week! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and fun way to experience the views Sedona has to offer!

Michael was a terrific ATV guide for our family girls trip! He was great in providing route options (scenic and somewhat smooth and fast or more adventurous and rough).....we chose scenic and fast! As an added bonus, he is a fantastic photographer, capturing fun and scenic pics.

What a blast this was! We’d never driven ATVs before. It’s a bit intimidating and course correction can be difficult, at first (I did a bit of off- off-roading) but you’ll get the hang of it. Watts did a great job of instructing. By the end of the tour, I relished speeding over the rocks - what a great outing! Our 14- and 12-year-olds said it was the best part of our trip. Sedona weather is quite variable but if you’re going out on a sunny day, don’t forget sunscreen like we did - there’s little shade when stopping for breaks. My late MIL, who raised 4 boys, would say, “The dirtier the bath water, the better the day they had.” This was definitely a great day!
