We paid Gary unproven in advance via Paypal, so we did not have to deal with cash. Meeting point easy to find, super punctual. Gary showed us the Metro with a passion - history not too much, just right. Extraordinary stories, architecture, hidden stations, art and closed access. One of the highlights of our New York trip!

Gary’s passion for New York and the subway system shines through on this tour. We went over a lot of information including the why, where and who made the NY Subway what it is today. Armed with pictures from the past and a wealth of information Gary helped the subway system come to life. We learned a bit of history, saw some of the original art that was carelessly destroyed to make improvements. There are still secrets that the subway holds, and I was glad to learn a few of them. Gary has a delightful personality, informative and he kept us wanting more. We were a small group, a mom and two twenty something kids. I believe Gary is great for all ages and can make any tour fun and interesting. The tour was easy to set up online and the communication organizing tours, times and dates was extremely easy. (We also did the Central Park Tour.)
