Overview

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Captain Ron and our underwater guide Lauren were exceptional. They made an awesome experience outstanding. We were provided with wet suits / snorkels and masks and after our swim towels hot chocolate or coffee were on board the boat. Saw an amazing sunrise including dolphins at play and pelicans on our way to our Manatee adventure. When we booked our trip we were advised to go on the early am tour for best viewing of the manatees I would get up early any day to have this experience again!

Captain Ron and First mate Lauren were awesome! They had everything we needed and could just enjoy the ride! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Went with two friends we had a wonderful time swimming with the manatees we were lucky and there were a lot of manatees. I had only used a snorkel two other times years ago but Lauren and Captain Ron were very helpful in getting me to relax and enjoy. Gulf Coast Expeditions furnished wet suits, snorkel, and towels after the swim they also had a changing space on the boat to get out of the wet suit and into your dry clothes. Word of advice bring sweatpants or loose fitting pants for the ride back to the dock easier to change into. Captain Ron's boat was very clean and has sides so the ride was very comfortable I highly recommend them if you are looking to book a Swim with the Manatees
