Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Ron and Lauren took my daughter Mia and I out on a cool day this past week to meet the manatees. They treated us both wonderfully and the boat ride was a lot of fun. Ron and Lauren were very personable and fun to chat with, and once in the water, Lauren guided us to some great meetings with the manatees. One even gave my daughter a 'kiss!' The customer service provided was perfect, and the overall experience was one that we will definitely not forget. Thanks again!

When looking to book this trip, I put alot of research into trying to find the best outfitter for our trip. There are so many to choose from and I was unsure of who to choose and what to expect. Gulf Coast Expeditions was the absolute best choice. Very accommodating and personal. Captain Ron and Lauren made you feel comfortable and were very personable and knowledgeable. We had a group of 4 and had our own private tour. Most amazing time. The outside air temps were a concern of mine since it was in the 40's at 6:30 Am, but the water temps were 72 and the wet suits that are provided made getting into the water no problem. We seen many manatees and the babies were full of flirt. Lauren was great with keeping us all aware of every manatee sighting and getting all of our photos taken with the manatees. Getting out of the water was just as easy as getting in the water. The boat was totally enclosed keeping the wind from freezing us. We were handed towels immediately and removed our wet suits and put our warm clothes on. Then we were given unlimited hot chocolate. Thank you Captain Ron and Lauren for an unforgettable and pleasant trip.

Captain Ron and Lauren were great as guides. They answered every question we had and it was a great time. It was my wife and I's first time swimming with the manatees so we had no idea what to expect so it was great that our experience was seamless and fun.
