Overview

This tour covers all the highlights of downtown Cleveland in one great, two-hour tour! The tour discusses a brief history of Cleveland, the buildings on Public Square and along the Mall, the Cleveland Public Library, the Cleveland Federal Reserve, Playhouse Square, with a visit inside the Arcade and the Cleveland Trust Company Building (Heinen's), as well as tales of Cleveland’s most famous residents. This walking tour is approximately 2 hours long. Some stops on the tour offer the opportunity for participants to sit. What To Expect

Public Square

We discuss the buildings and monuments on Public Square typically including the Old Stone Church, the Society for Savings Building, Terminal Tower, the statue of Moses Cleveland and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.

The Mall

We discuss the buildings and statues on the Mall including the War Memorial Fountain, the statue of Abe Lincoln, and the Cleveland Public Library.

Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland: Learning Center and Money Museum

From the outside, we see the Cleveland Federal Reserve and discuss the building, some of its unique features and the world's largest vault door that can be found inside.

We discuss the history of the amazing theaters in Playhouse Square, the second largest theater district in the US.

This is a great experience. Scott was a terrific host, so knowledgeable and engaging. The tour takes you to historical buildings of interest, and you learn the history of the city. Because of the pandemic Scott's tour of the interiors of historic buildings in Cleveland is not available right now, but that would be super interesting also. Scott took time to learn about the guests on the tour, and suggest restaurants and activities. Really well done, I highly recommend this walking tour.

My husband and I took the walking tour of Downtown Cleveland. Scott did an awesome job telling us all about the history of Cleveland and the neat downtown buildings. I would definitely recommend this tour!!
