What To Expect

The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

The entire staff at Gypsy Gold ensured we had a marvelous time as we toured the farm. We learned about the history of the Gypsy Vanner horses, got to meet and pet virtually every Gypsy Vanner horse on the farm as well as other horses and donkeys that were there. They shared their vision for the future that includes creating an educational experience, especially for children, in addition to the work they do with the Gypsy Vanner horses! Well worth your time!

The farm, the tour and the service was amazing!! Tylor was an excepcional attending, she explain everything for us so an interesting way, there are a lot of stuff like coffee and snacks and it’s amazing! And definitely we will came back 🙏🏻 and super recommend it !! Thanks

My husband and I joined another couple for a 70th birthday celebration, first stop was the Gypsy Gold Horse Farm...what a treat! The property is gorgeous, the staff was amazing, the owner Dennis certainly took it over the top sharing the history of and his love for the gorgeous Gypsy Vanner horses! There is so much to see not just the horses; there are mules, donkeys, parrots, chicks, and much more to come. Absolutely must see!!!!
