The Gypsy Gold Farm
our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

Seeing these breathtaking horses has been a dream for a long time and I was't disappointed. Lots of exotic birds there too and Donkeys of 3 different size and variety. My granddaughter got to sit on one of the stallions! The only thing I would ask to change is the length of intro talk you get before tour. It was 30-45 min long...too much info, strayed into other areas not related to this farm history. A lot of good info on Gypsy culture that few know about and how this farm tries to elevate that culture for the good.

Thanks for the great review Mobile, 523295. When a visitor brings little ones the talking portion of the tour seems long. If I did not give your granddaughter something to color for that portion, my apologies. As I did with your granddaughter, I often set kids on a beautiful Gypsy Vanner Horse for a keepsake photo as a reward for their patience in the talking portion. It is hard to get it perfect for every situation. bring her back when we get the concepts you learned about in the talking portion developed, she will love it,...... Warm Regards, Dennis

New to the area from Minnesota. With this area being one of the Largest horse areas in the United States I wanted to find something in the area that was horse related to do. Dennis is a very interesting man that is very knowledgeable about the Gypsy Vanner breed. His passion and Vision is amazing. One of the best gems in the area! Jackie
