This is an excellent alternative to driving Haleakala yourself. Henry is an interesting and amusing driver who managed the curvy steep road well. Unfortunately on the day we went, the weather was not cooperative and it started to cloud up and then rain before sunset. However, Henry could see that the weather was changing and hustled everyone into place for excellent pictures and viewing of the crater before it could no longer be seen. We also got to witness a solar eclipse which was really neat from such an altitude. The dinner was good. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 star rating was completely due to weather which is uncontrollable by the tour company. We enjoyed this trip.

I'm so glad that I booked this tour. Our tour guide Henry was the best! He was so funny and knowledgeable and what made it even better was that you could tell that he really loved his job. He was gracious enough to take everyone's pictures so we all go the perfect shots with the sunset behind us.
The sunset was absolutely spectacular, something I will never forget. A definite must of when in Maui!
