This trip was booked through Viator in early June. The driver was very professional and the ride was wonderful. The problem was that the trip was booked as a guided tour, which cost more that the self guided trip down the mountain. Because they were short staffed, they switched us to the self guided and told us we would receive the refund associated with lower priced self guided tour. Several calls and promises; no refund. Be careful!

We had an amazing time! While we wanted to do the sunrise ride; in theory….we also wanted to sleep a bit later since we were on vacation. Choosing the self guided morning ride was an absolutely perfect option for us! It was so much fun, we were able to go fast but at our own pace, and we loved being able to stop in a town for lunch and walking around. “Coach” was our driver and guide as we went up to the summit. He was so nice, told great stories, and made us feel safe before we went off on our own! Can’t recommend this higher!!! It will not disappoint- Especially for those who want to sleep a little later.

We had a awesome time on this tour. Our guide Kimo was great. He gave tons of info on the way up with lots of facts about the area. They use much better bikes and brakes than other companies. We stopped a couple of times on the way down once at a general store, then again at a bakery for a donut on a stick. When you get to the top Kimo takes pics of your party and one pic he takes, well let me say I have never had such a cool pic of my husband and I. The ride is not difficult at all just fun and incredible views. Thank Kimo and all the staff at the bike shop.
