My boyfriend and I took this tour to have some fun on our anniversary trip and had an absolute blast. I sadly can’t remember our captains name but he was amazing! Super funny and easy going but caring. Brad an Dan were super sweet and accommodating. They were constantly offering water, served us snacks and made sure we knew everything we should know before getting in the water. Of course drinking is after the snorkeling but they constantly are refilling your drinks and offering more. A great way to make friends, laugh and drink on a boat while experience something new. This was my first time snorkeling and it was honestly perfect. Brad was our guide on the kayaks and he took the time to explain so much to us. He is super knowledgeable about the mangroves and the birds that live in them. He answered every question we had. They’re all a super laid back crew. I really really enjoyed this trip and I cannot thank them enough for making our anniversary that much more fun! This is TOTALLY worth the price. Thanks guys!

Snorkeling was no reef, no color, no action, just few little fish. Kayak followed guides lead but our half of the kayakers got stuck and did not make it to mangroves and other half was allowed to walk. Crew did their best, but think location of snorkeling and entering mangroves could be chosen better.

Martin, I am glad you were able to come to Key West for your vacation. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. The snorkeling spots we frequent are a prelude to the barrier reef. It is a huge nursey where we see a variety of fish but they blend in for their survival. This unfortunately means the colors on some are not as bright and colorful. You did come out on a day where the tides were exceptionally low. This is quite the sight to see as all the seagrass around the island begins to be exposed. The downside is that sometimes it is so shallow that even a kayak can not approach. It is still beautiful to be out in mother nature on the water to witness. We do hope that you enjoyed the rest of your vacation. Haig Smith

The tour should’ve never taken place. The weather looked very threatening before we even boarded. We barely got to our first stop to snorkel and the crew called us back on deck because it started to pour and thunder/lightning lit up the sky. They still went to the next stop to kayak with the rain and all. We were so cold and the tarp was letting the water out all over us. The crew was very apologetic and very friendly and helpful. I don’t blame them. I think the company didn’t want to lose money.

Thank you Bill for wanting to choose Danger Charters to spend part of your vacation with. We are sorry the weather did not cooperate. The reason we went out is that most of the time the weather does clear up and move on through. In fact, there were several other companies out on that same day that got caught in the rain. We do apologize. We are glad to hear the crew was helpful. Please contact me and we can discuss it further. Haig Smith 305-304-9161
