Half Day Deep Sea Fishing Trip

Overview
The Reward Fleet is one of Miami’s oldest and most recognized charter fishing party boats. We run at least 3 trips daily (morning, afternoon and evening) out of Bayside Marketplace Marina in Miami.

All trips depart Miami through its main ship channel – Government Cut. Because of our location, it only takes a few short minutes to reach the fishing grounds off Miami. We usually fish the local reefs , ledges, drop-offs and wrecks in search of a variety of species – from bottom fish like snappers and groupers, to reef and wreck dwellers like amberjack and kingfish, even pelagic fish like sailfish and tuna are very common.

Fishing methods will vary depending on conditions and time of year, but be assured the captains of the Reward fishing fleet will do everything possible to put you on the fish and have great time while you’re aboard. Sometimes we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting and jigging, and if conditions permit, we’ll even put a fishing kite.

Capt. Wayne, mates Alyssa & Adrian were awesome. Great 10+ hour trip on "Reward Won" with a mixed bag of fish. By far the best I have fished with south of Palm Beach County. This was the first of many trips I will make on this boat. Kudos Capt. & Crew ^5 Marc Kellener - WPB After reading other reviews, I am disappointed that anyone would have the mindset to knock a Capt. or crew for fish not biting, avid fisherman know why it is called "fishing" and not "catching". Don't cheat yourself out of a great day with these people due to a few sour pusses that are bummed they didn't catch a fish!!!

We were supposed to leave on the afternoon trip. The boat was broken so they canceled that trip. I was pretty annoyed at the time, but the boat being broken wasn't their fault. They have my husband and I $15 off the $50 price. We decided to go back for the night fishing. They were using the smaller boat so there was only space for 30 people. I called explained that I was there earlier and the guy held us a spot. When we got there they promptly got the boat moving and fishing. The boat was parked with a great view of the city. The first 15-20 minutes were slow but then I literally caught something almost every cast! I got some very nice mangrove snapper and a strawberry grouper. They reels and bait all worked great! The crew were extremely helpful! They will filet your catch for you too! We had Jamie help us most often and he was great! Would def recommend! TIP THE CREW THEY WORK HARD!!!

Pros: Rods were like brand new, most of the crew members were friendly, knowledgable, professional and accommodating (especially Bernie & the captain), hand full of small yellowtail were caught, Florida Resident discount @ $45 ea. person fishing, cash or credit (cc maybe used at no additional charge) and free parking. Cons: The fleet wasn't in the best of shape, bait was rotten possibly used from earlier trip, roaches all over the bathrooms including inside cabin/seating area, Chris is foul mouthed, unprofessional and offended my family (seconds from not going on trip to avoid his presence), a hand full of small yellowtail were caught otherwise nothing, weights were too light and needed to be changed out to heavier ones within the first cast out (simply bring your own everything; i.e. food/drinks/hand towels/medicine/equipment and gear), I attempted to reserve the back of the boat upon reservation like instructed and they said they don't do that (even though it stated to online), I was asked to arrive early to discuss positioning options with the captain which I did and ended up on the side of boat, most of the fish being caught were at the front of the boat on this specific night fishing experience.
