My fiancé and I did the half day kayak trip and it was incredible! This is a great option during low water season if you like adventure. The rapids were really exciting. Our guide Joe was fantastic - he prepped us before we began the trip, taught us some drills for safety, and was full of fun tips and facts about the area. Book it!

This experience was so much fun! I (age 14) went on this tour with my parents and younger sister (age 10), and we all had a blast. Bobby Lee was a great tour guide and he was very skilled at maneuvering the raft. He gave us a very descriptive guide of the Animas and made it very easy for us to understand when and how to paddle. The class 3 Smelter rapids were the most fun part of the rafting. It was an amazing day! I would highly recommend you to do this!!

We had a great time! I was anxious but our guide (BENJI) safely/expertly navigated the waters and we had a BLAST! This trip was perfect w time … didn’t feel rushed / we had time to jump in and swim and repeat “SURF” a few times!!! We look forward to repeating this trip again … hopefully with the same guide … he was FANTASTIC!
