Our raft guide, James, was outstanding. We had a blast on the Animas River. Orientation was thorough. The trip was exciting, beautiful, and so much fun! Great value.

first time to Durango, and everyone we talked to said a rafting excursion is a must. We picked Mild to Wild and it was a great choice. We did a half day on the Lower Animas, which is a bit milder. But the water was running good, so hit some good rapids, one Level 4. The whole experience was great. We went online to look at the options from home before we traveled to Durango. Had lots of questions, and Taylor was extremely helpful. She reached out by text, went through the different rafting options, helped us pick the right one. The online registration is easy. The morning of the excursion the check in process was very smooth. Fitted us for wet suits, life jackets. Very good pre-rafting safety instructions. A short bus ride and ready to hop on the river. Our raft guide, Ryker, was awesome. Great knowledge of the river and area, skillful in steering, clear instructions when we needed to paddle. And some good jokes! We will be back to Durango, and do this again, and only with Mild to Wild!
