We took our family of 7, including 3 kids (ages 8-12) and two grandparents, on a half day rafting trip with Mild to Wild Adventures on the Animas River. Our guide was Jeremy and he did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and informed about the trip. We loved the beautiful scenery around us and even got to experience some exciting class 3 rapids. I highly recommend booking this adventure when you visit Durango!

We had a great time with Ellen on the river! My only complaint was when I booked I was told I would get a drink and a snack in my package deal. We didn’t receive either.

We signed up for the Jeep/Raft tour with Miles and Chris as our guides. We were a party of six with ages ranging from 13 to 71 and both guides were able to accommodate everyone's fun and safety levels. The morning jeep tour was a great way to start our first full day in Durango!!! We were a little underdressed for the cooler temps at the top, but Miles had blankets for us to use. Great scenic drive. The afternoon raft trip was just enough to challenge the kids, but not get Nana too nervous! Chris did an excellent job of navigating us down the river and giving the kids a great first time rafting experience. If booking both trips, recommend you take a picnic lunch and enjoy eating at the park next to the office. Front office is easy to work with and very friendly and professional.
