We went for a morning rafting tour on the Animas River in late July. Our instructor/guide for our fun morning was Nickol. He was really thorough with the instructions given, he answered innumerable questions about rafting and about the surrounding areas we passed by, and he eased any anxiety we had by his energetic and knowledgeable presence. There were 8 of us in total; one 60+, one 50+, two 40+, one 30+, and three kids (4, 10, and 11) so we were a mixed bag of athleticism and clumsiness. I think we did well as a whole despite this fact, which is total credit to Nickol's leadership! The scenery is gorgeous. It was just so pleasant and the 4.5 hours just seemed to fly by. Ask for Nickol! He's the best!

Had a great time with Mid to Wild! Brad to great care of us on the river! New it was late season and lower flows but still had a wonderful time! Thanks again Brad and the Mild to Wild crew! Dave

As summer is coming to a close we wanted a fun family adventure as we toured the southwestern part of Colorado. Mild to Wild rafting was an excellent choice. Our family of 5 had our own boat with a wonderful guide named Eric. Even with the water levels a bit low he made the trip a blast. He looked for ways to compensate for low water and was very knowledgeable about the river and the area. Mild to Wild was fantastic to deal with. From online waivers to a flawless check-in process they delivered a great experience. Everyone we spoke to from office staff to additional river guides was funny, helpful and really seemed to enjoy their work. I definitely recommend them!!!!
