I was on a two week RV road trip with my boys and rode into town after visiting Mesa Verde. On a lark, I thought it would be fun to do a rafting trip. I chose Mild to Wild based on their rating on TripAdvisor. They did not disappoint! From the time we walked in, everyone was friendly and excited to explain what we would expect to experience on our adventure. Our guide, Sean, and his trusty sidekick, Jorge, or George were AWESOME!! Not only did Sean perform his rafting guide duties admirably, he also helped teach my boys how to jump on a swing, skip rocks, and ride rapids on their own. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to provide just those activities as part of an excursion package! :) I do have one suggestion. Upon our return, there was a trough filled with water with a sign next to it indicating to put booties inside. My 8 year old read the sign and stepped in the trough. I suggest that you add some verbiage indicating that you need to take the booties off first before putting them in the trough! All in all I realized it wasn't a ride filled with major "consequences", but the boys and I enjoyed Sean's sense of humor, professionalism, and fingernail/toenail polish. High Fiva for Mild to Wild!!

Two amazing experiences booked through mild to wild for our family vacation! First the train from Silverton to Durango - Terry drove us to Silverton & shared his knowledge of the area & personalized the experience for us! The train ride back was breathtaking! We also booked a rafting trip, the first for my husband & 2 kids (ages 9 & 5), Cassidy was our guide & she to made the experience one we would never forget & secured our family’s continued exploration of rafting expeditions in the future, likely with Mild to Wild! Booking with Mild to wild was like talking & working with my best friend! The staff was great with answering any questions I had along our planning, they even caught a booking error from my online registration that saved us over $100! Their constant updates through the fire & mudslide risks reassured me of our safety & enjoyment of our trip! Thanks for an awesome 2018 family adventure vacation!

Took my grandson on the full day rafting trip. He is 8 and was very a little fearful but Beth our guide was great, by the end of the trip his fear was conquered and he was bragging about rafting a class 3 rapid. Good trip.
