Last year we took a 2 hour rafting trip with our 2 children. They enjoyed it & asked to do the longer trip this year. So we did our first 4 hour rafting trip with Rubi as our guide and loved every minute of it! We like to paddle & work the river together, & Rubi was great at instruction on when & how to paddle & also telling us stories. The river level was lower this year than last year which made Rubi have to really read where the best places were to squeeze through in some places, too.

Love your description of the challange of the low water. As the water lowers, the rocks come out, and the rafting actually gets more difficult. Rubi is a pro...so glad you enjoyed him! Thanks for your review.

Durango is so beautiful as it is but the river rafting shows you so much more! There's calm and serene areas, areas where you can jump in and cool off and then there's the "wild" areas that give you excitement and little dousing to keep you cool! Great fun and the guides are really fun and knowledgeable.

It was our first time river rafting, so we didn't know what to expect! We were a bit nervous. But everything was very well organized and we had a great time. The water was low and our boat got caught up on several rocks. #Dillan knew exactly what to do and made the experience one to never forget. If you do the river rafting, make sure to get the photo package!
