We had a great time with our awesome guide, Miles, on the half-day rafting tour on the lower Animas river. We watched a short safety video, got our PFDs, and helmets and loaded the bus to the drop in spot. After going over rules and safety guidelines, we all boarded our rafts. The water was chilly, but we did not wear a wet suit and were just fine. The rapids were pretty relaxing and we enjoyed learning fun facts about Durango from Miles. He was an excellent guide and we felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. I would highly recommend this activity.

Had the best 1/2 day raft down the Lower Animas this morning! We had our 6 year old son and the staff was so accommodating, getting him fitted in the perfect size wet boots and wet suit, personal floatation device and paddle. We were all impressed by the outstanding customer service to make sure we had the most enjoyable ride and even put us in our own raft as there was a huge camp there of teenagers and only enough other adults for 1 other raft. Alyssa went above and beyond as our tour guide, making it an enjoyable experience for the entire family and was very good at conversations while navigating the river with her master oars. Highly recommend for all ages!

Great trip with family! Ashton was a great guide and made the trip both fun and interesting. We wore wetsuits and swam in River.
