My husband wanted to go for his birthday. We boarded the boat with 60 plus people. I caught a fish. He caught more. We had a great time. The worst part was putting on the bait. The crew was amazing and help us out when we needed it. It was a great deal for the price.

Took my 8 year-old daughter out the other morning for the 5-hour half day trip (her 1st saltwater fishing experience). The marina and boat are beautiful. The mates on the boat were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everything was professional and well organized from the get-go. Unfortunately, we had a pretty poor day fishing. We traveled out about 90 minutes to get to the grounds. Once we arrived, the drift was rather fast and it became difficult to hold the bottom, especially for a child 1st timer. I caught a single, small porgy, and she didn't catch anything. No one can control nature though. We had < 3 hours of fishing time due to the longer ride out/back, which was also a bit disappointing. I realize there are reefs, wrecks, etc that the head boats target, but during a short trip, I don't understand why they just don't keep closer to shore and catch fish (regardless of size and species - all of the head boats do this, up and down the east coast). Overall, I would highly recommend the Hubbard outfit, and will go out with them again. Next trip, I'll be doing one of the 39 or 44 hour trips. But, will take the kids on another 5 hour trip (give it a second chance) with hopes to simply catch some fish.

We went on a half day fishing charter. I've been on these types of boats before, they fill them to the gills and everyone fishes on top of one another. This was the same as that, but that's what we expected and paid for. Having said that, the positives far outweighed the negatives. We caught a good number of fish, the boat was clean, they offer a meal deal that includes a burger, chips, and soda, and the crew seemed like good dudes. At the end they cleaned our fish and bagged them for us. I enjoyed the trip, would definitely consider fishing with them again.
