My husband and I had a really good time during this tour. He loves gospel music and I love walking, so it works well for both of us. Kevin, our tour guide, did an excellent job at explaining and painting a picture of what was going on in the past to us. I love on how his stories really revolves around gospel music, from Amazing Grace era to our contemporary gospel. Would recommend it to anyone who loves history and interested in knowing more about gospel music in America

Our tour guide, Tauren Higgins, a native New Yorker, was knowledgeable, bringing out architectural gems, historical anecdotes as she unveiled real neighborhoods that brought the Harlem community to life....and song! An hour at a Baptist church with full gospel choir was the centerpiece of the tour, but Tauren's humor, knowledge and love of her subject just shined brightly. We had several nationalities as well as native Americans on the tour and all felt comfortable and just loved our guide. Loved it and would go again in a heartbeat! Joel Gordon

our Harlem Gospel tour was given by Galit - who was lively and informative and also sang beautifully! The tour gave us a recap on the origins of gospel and the final attendance at the Sunday service was very uplifting... made more powerful by the historical context. What incredible music!
