What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Allen was an excellent guide. This was a pretty strenuous trip for us and ended up being 6 full hours. Very nice that they provide free water bottles at the beginning of the trip - we drank 3 bottles each!

One of the highlights of our trip. We saw beautiful Kauai in it’s natural state. Kayaked up stream and then hiked a mile to the Secret Falls. Our guide, Thomas was outstanding! He told us lots of history and geography about the area and we learned about culture and the people of Kauai. It was a beautiful Falls and we swam in the pool. I will definitely do this again!

Great fun paddling 2 miles up river then hiking 1 1/4 miles to Secret falls. Lunch at the falls then a quick swim and shower under the falls. Loved listening to Allen explaining about all the flora along our hike. Rainbow tours is one of the few which included picnic lunch, bottles of water and dry bags to guests a nice touch for visiting tourists. The shuttle van was like new, clean and comfortable with A/C
