From shallow mangrove-lined bays and mangrove tunnels to beach views and wildlife sightings, Pelican Bay has everything you need for an exciting adventure out on the water!

While out on the water, kayakers can spot all sorts of incredible wildlife here in Pelican Bay. From dolphins and manatees to bald eagles and ospreys, our amazing waterways are perfect for both epic adventures and stunning photos. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo taking, so feel free to bring a waterproof camera or an inexpensive camera in a waterproof bag.

We had a terrific day on Pelican Bay. The staff was very helpful and kind. Gave us some great pointers on where to go to see manatee. also saw a dolphin. They also pointed out where to go to get beach access. all-in-all, a great half day on the water

Outstanding job getting that dock up and running. Jordan is amazing and helpful getting me in and out. If you come to the area, get out on the water and take a trash bag with you. You never know what lil Ian treasures youll find and it feels good to help. Its my go to place when we come down here. Cantbwait to see the new tiki they are building. Thank you Jordan!

This was our second year renting kayaks from Kayak Excursions. They give sufficient advise and directions, plus were friendly. And are receptive to questions (don’t hesitate to ask). Ft Myers beach area was hit hard this fall (hurricane Ian) so it felt good supporting a business that managed to get up and running again within 2months - even though they lost dockage (and had replaced enough for safe & easy loading & unloading guests). Incredible. We highly recommend these guys when you return to the area (we booked our vaca 9mos out and after Hurricane Ian our vrbo said, “We are open, our house is good; Please come!) If you come soon (12/22) simply remember the area was hit with a Categaory 4+ Storm and keep that in mind as you enjoy your time on the water. Clean up is going non-stop and doing an excellent job. But it will take awhile.
