From shallow mangrove-lined bays and mangrove tunnels to beach views and wildlife sightings, Pelican Bay has everything you need for an exciting adventure out on the water!

While out on the water, kayakers can spot all sorts of incredible wildlife here in Pelican Bay. From dolphins and manatees to bald eagles and ospreys, our amazing waterways are perfect for both epic adventures and stunning photos. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo taking, so feel free to bring a waterproof camera or an inexpensive camera in a waterproof bag.

We booked a three hour tour. I can’t give enough praise for this excursion. Our guide, Laura, was phenomenal. She was so knowledgeable. We learned so much about The Florida eco-system. Laura also shared her knowledge of local points of interest. The paddle was fantastic. We saw beautiful homes and boats, many different types of birds. Laura explained the different types of mangroves and how they grew. We weren’t lucky enough to see any dolphins or manatees, but that is ok! We learned a lot and got to enjoy some peaceful, tranquility. The kayaks were well maintained and in great shape. The process to launch and get back in to shore was easy. We will definitely be back when we visit again!

Easy to book, easy to get started, and safe launch dock. They will give you pointers if you want. Friendly staff. What more could you want really? Fun to explore the back waters of this area, we even saw dolphins. Even during busy spring break, there were hardly hardly any boats in the back waters which were not deep, so we just jumped in the water whenever we got too hot. If its windy, kayak instead of SUP. Do it!!
