Jon showed us a fantastic time today. We hiked the South Kaibab Trail down to Cedar Point. On the way, he gave us a lot of information about the history of the Canyon and was more than happy to answer our many questions about the area. We stopped at Ooh Ahh Point, Windy Ridge and finally Cedar Point…where, like a magician, Jon made the BEST chicken wrap we have ever eaten! He made sure to take plenty of pics of us. We are getting married next month and he even brought a bottle of sparkling cider and cups to toast our upcoming marriage. He also brought plenty of fluids and snacks for us, as well as lent us great backpacks and walking sticks. The hike back to the rim was challenging but he was encouraging and patient as we stopped for as many breaks to catch our breath as we needed. 10/10 recommend!

This tour is not to be missed - definitely one of the best I've done through Viator. Jon was prompt and organized; he had our backpacks ready and filled with snacks and water for the day. Both of us learned the proper technique for using hiking poles - they were essential going down and walking back up again. Lunch was amazing...he made chicken/veggie wraps on the trail! I have so many amazing photos too - this hike was the highlight of my trip.

John was an amazing guide. We have done a lot of hiking and this was our first guided trip. He taught us about the canyon and hiking best practices (we learned the correct way to use hiking poles and it was excellent.) We greatly enjoyed his company and the lunch was the best I have every had on a hike, and we do box lunches regularly. He also had the ability to tailor the hike to the experience and capability of our group. Even my 2 teenage sons loved having John as our guide, (the snacks didn't hurt.) Finally, my finacee proposed on this hike and schemed with John to plan it all out. Thanks so much!
