Half day whitewater rafting adventure through the Royal Gorge. Approximately a 3-hour tour on a 10-mile stretch of class III/IV whitewater. The Royal Gorge is world renowned for the epic scenery of the 1200 foot walls that tower over you, while you raft below the world's highest suspension bridge. FREE use of all river gear!

What To Expect

Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours

Guests will arrive at our base location 1 hour prior to the departure time. They will be outfitted for their gear and then given an extensive pre-trip orientation. From there, we will transport the guests to our private beach put in. The raft trip will last approximately 2.5-3 hours. We will then transport our guests back to our base location where you can view a slideshow at our Bar & Grill of all the photos that were taken during the trip. Photos are available for purchase. We do send along a kayaker with every Royal Gorge trip who takes photos of the trip and also doubles as support.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was an amazing experience and we can’t imagine using any other company!! Alan gave us the safety talk on the bus ride to the rafts. Only one person in our boat had ever rafted before. The safety info was very thorough and he made it fun and informative!! Our guide was Julian and we cannot say enough great things about him!! He is very experienced, patient, and kind. He helped us to work as a team, kept us safe, and provided us with memories we will have for a lifetime!! Our recommendation is to use Royal gorge rafting, wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and dry quickly, like swimwear and dry fit clothing, water shoes or walking sandals, like Keens or Tevas. Wet suits and shoes are available but you’ll be more comfortable in your own clothes. Helmets and life jackets are provided. Leave an extra change of clothes in your car so that you can change into dry clothes after the trip!

So much fun. Family of 4 all enjoyed this rafting trip very much. Just enough excitement to not be too scary. Not sure I'd take younger kids. Our guide, Bryan, was great. He made our experience a good one. Very knowledgeable and his experience made me feel comfortable. The view from the Arkansas River was awesome. Plan to get wet ! I'd definitely book with company again. Terrific time 😊

Julian was a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable, funny, and capable (a gal fell in and he had her out of the water within seconds). He makes it fun by doing the Beaver Boogie! Definitely take on the challenge of riding the bull!
