Half day whitewater rafting adventure through the Royal Gorge. Approximately a 3-hour tour on a 10-mile stretch of class III/IV whitewater. The Royal Gorge is world renowned for the epic scenery of the 1200 foot walls that tower over you, while you raft below the world's highest suspension bridge. FREE use of all river gear!

What To Expect

Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours

Guests will arrive at our base location 1 hour prior to the departure time. They will be outfitted for their gear and then given an extensive pre-trip orientation. From there, we will transport the guests to our private beach put in. The raft trip will last approximately 2.5-3 hours. We will then transport our guests back to our base location where you can view a slideshow at our Bar & Grill of all the photos that were taken during the trip. Photos are available for purchase. We do send along a kayaker with every Royal Gorge trip who takes photos of the trip and also doubles as support.

10/10, A+++, Would recommend! Can't wait to do this again next year! Did the full day tour in early June, water was just over 2000 CFS, which gave us plenty of fun rapids and made moving through the calm parts effortless (very little paddling on our part). It was a perfect day in the upper 90s so the cold water was refreshing and the hot air kept us from getting cold Our boat was led by Ryan, who has 20+ seasons as a river guide. Super knowledgeable about rafting and the history of the area. I'm a first time rafter and felt totally comfortable throughout the whole trip. Ryan was on top of keeping us informed of upcoming rapids and what we should expect/need to do while keeping it super fun the whole time.

Best trip ever…period…Red (John Abts) was the best guide I’ve ever had. He knew how to navigate the gorge better then anyone. No one fell out, very safe trip, but included solid thrills. Take this trip, but only ask for Red. He’s the only one worth riding with.

Our guide, Atticus, was very experienced, gave clear verbal cues and helped put first time rafters like us at ease! It was a thrilling experience and well-organized. We are still talking about how much fun we had!
