Do this towards the end of your trip (you may be a little sore the next day). Also, make sure your helmet is on tight.
So so worth it! Our guide was Red. He's very experienced, hilarious, and puts you at ease. (The bus driver, and guide in a kayak that follows the raft as well as take pictures were also both very friendly). My one suggestion would be to talk a little more about what the people still in the raft should do when someone falls in.
The Royal Gorge is breathtaking, it was really one of the best experiences I've had in my life.
They also have a great bar right next door, their changing room is nice, and they provide all the equipment you need.
