Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

The first mate was hilarious and kept it fun and enjoyable. The captain clearly knows what she’s doing. They took us to 2 amazing places! Everything needed was provided. You’ll need your own snacks and towels.

The crew from PC Watersports were great and made the trip a lot more enjoyable. We were blessed with perfect weather and calm seas the day we went (5/4/22), so we got to see two different shipwreck sites, and a ton of fish and other wildlife.

The waters were a bit rough the day we went out but the crew made the best of it. I would def suggest this trip to others, the reefs were amazing despite the current. One thing I appreciated was that I didnt feel micromanaged by the guides. We were briefed on the safety rules and told how to signal for help and where to stay in proximity to the boat (which was a large area) and turned loose to explore! Though the crew was diligent and kept an eye on us all while we were out. Also the captain gave us a great place to stop and eat on our way out of the Keys, was a very cool local spot and really was the icing to our day!
