Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

The Captain and crew were wonderful, friendly, gave lots of clear easy to follow directions, and took good care of the passengers from start to finish. We loved the 2 spots we went to snorkel. It was our 2 kidsā€™ ( 11 and 15) first time snorkeling and they had a great trip too. The first spot was very relaxed, the 2nd spot required some stronger swimming because the wind and current came up, and was deeper, but with an amazing variety of huge corals.

I had a great time on this snorkel trip. The crew was polite and the two reefs were excellent. We did postpone the trip by 25 minutes to accommodate two other guests that were late. I wasnā€™t a huge fan of that but overall I had a great experience.

Thank you for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed your trip out with our crew! While check-in for the snorkel trip is at 8:30am (morning trip) or 1pm (afternoon trip), the boat leaves sometime between 8:30-9am or 1-1:30pm. And because we only have one road down here in the Keys, we do try to be considerate if someone is stuck in traffic as long as they show up before 9am or 1:30pm, which are our actual departure times. Thanks again and hopefully you can come see us again for more fun the next time you are in Key Largo!
