Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

This was mine and my husbandā€™s first time snorkeling and the staff was more than accommodating. One of the guides, H, came over and personally explained everything to us so weā€™d feel prepared and comfortable. The staff was great and super friendly. They made sure everyone was having a great time. The snorkeling was beautiful and it was definitely a great experience! I would 100% recommend this company if youā€™re looking to snorkel. To me it felt like a great bargain too!

Friday, 1:00PM tour. One of the most amazing experiences of our lives in Gretian Rocks. The coral was spectacular, H and Captain were wonderful hosts, felt safe the whole time. Only critique would be for myself and other guests. We were told in many different ways DONT touch the coral. But still I (along with others) mistakenly went into the shallow area and came too close for comfort (comfort of the coral that is). I feel terrible to think that even well-meaning guests every day are bumping into the shallow areas and disturbing the coral and one day will contribute to its destruction. I think H and Captain could be more firm in saying stay along the fringe donā€™t even go near shallow. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the 5 stars. Corals can harm you (as well as you harming them) and we include in the safety briefing about proper buoyancy and not to get too shallow in an effort to preserve the reef and protect you. Perhaps you were just so excited about the trip you missed that part! Hope to see you again.
