Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Booked this experience to enjoy the day with my daughter. Arrived at the location in the beautiful Reef resort. The boat left on time with a group of 30 guests. We visited 2 different locations (North-North) and Christ in the Abyss. We had plenty of time to swim and explore, I would say about 2 hours which is plenty of time when you are in the open ocean. The crew was funny and knowledgeable, and assisted all of us with the snorkeling equipment. We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day and were able to see many beautiful fishes including a shark, a stingray, and two friendly barracudas. Definitely a great experience! I will be back with the rest of the family 😊

This is $65/person well spent. The price incudes what they said: equipments and sunscreen. Very passionate boat crew who seem to love their jobs. It was a little scary to look into the deep sea for a 1st timer but the view is great. Fun activity for the whole family if you know how to swim.
