Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

No regard for snorkelers in the waterā€¦ā€¦dangerous captain and crew. Interacted with the captain and crew of the Seastar at John Pennekamp State Park. They moored their giant vessel directly over the Jesus statue that everyone visits this reef to see. There were multiple divers and snorkelers in the area with dive flags prominently displayed when they approached the mooring bouys and they still proceeded to moore directly over the statue while screaming at people in the water to move out of their way as they operated their vessel in dangerous proximity to the folks in the water. Moored their giant vessel directly over the statue so that no one (including their own guests) could enjoy seeing it. Rude, no regard for human lives in the water, no regard for laws regarding operation of a vessel in proximity to snorkelers and divers when dive flags are displayed, no regard for anyone elseā€™s experience or safety on the reef, very unprofessional.

The captain and first mate christi were super nice! 5 star crew but was very wavy with multiple people vomiting. The fish were cool but not too many. Besides the sickness it was a good experience!

Thanks for leaving us a review! Unfortunately we cannot control the sea conditions or amount of wildlife, but we appreciate you recognizing the crew as 5 stars!

Great, but short, snorkeling trip in Key Largo. The boat is nice and its crew are funny and really helpful.
