Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview
Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Was such a great experience and saw so many different fish. The guides were awesome and had great jokes lol. We went to a shipwreck and also a finger reef.

Captain Katie, Shipmate Cutler, and Black Manta were the crew members. They were very friendly, funny, and helpful. Much to see, stingrays, jellyfish, parrot fish, barracuda, lobsters, and more.

Amazing experience. Boat and equipment were great. Pete and ā€œHā€ were excellent guides-knowledgeable and funny. They had reef-safe sunscreen and filtered water on the boat. They even had some cooling gel for me when I had a reaction to the seaweed on my arm (some people are sensitive to the microscopic critters in itā€”Donā€™t let it deter youā€”I think I was the only one on the boat it affected and the rash went after by the time we left), and leave in conditioner to help de-tangle my hair after the snorkel. One minute into our snorkel we were lucky enough to see a reef shark and hammerhead swim right by us-lots of other beautiful marine life, too. People saw eels, a Goliath grouper, barracuda, an eagle ray, and lots of other beautiful fish. Top notch all the way. I have been on many dive/snorkel boats, and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. They weā€™re wonderful with the kids and first-time snorkelers, too. My 13-year-old had only snorkeled one time before, but he felt safe, and this was the highlight of the trip. I made a rookie mistake and did not rent an underwater camera or bring my phone on the the snorkel in a clear dry bag. My son has no idea how lucky we were to see such big beautiful sharks so close up, and we have no pics! We will be back soon!
