Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Captain Brad took us out and it was smooth sailings and amazing seas. We had great conversation with Captain Brad and he was super informative about landmarks and helped educate us more on the coral reef and the stories behind certain landmarks. He made our trip so much fun and even more so for our teen kiddos. Our family gives all thumbs up and want to come back and do it again! Thank you Captain Brad for helping us make awesome memories and for keeping us safe and educated on our trip!!

Very disappointed. 2 days before we were supposed to depart the company called us and let us know their big boat broke. The said they would have to send out smaller boats if we still wanted to tour. Our tour was originally scheduled for 1 pm but because they had to move people around they asked if we Would be willing to take a 5pm tour instead. We agreed. When we got there to check in for the tour at 4:50, they canceled for weather reasons. We ended up finding a crusin tiki tour down the road that was still going out and caught a beautiful sunset. We were unable to reschedule because we had driven in from Ft. Lauderdale and we were leaving the next day to return home.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience while with us. We really do regret the inconveniences you encountered while on this. Unfortunately mechanical and weather challenges arise at times. Our decisions are based on the overall safety for our guest as well as our crew on any given trip and we try our best to accommodate. Due to us taking your out to the reef which is 3-5 miles of shore we could not run that trip. Bayside sunset can provide better conditions depending of wind speeds and direction. We do look forward to the opportunity to have you book again while in Key Largo.
