Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys

Overview

Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Captains Cutler and John were fantastic. They were patient with our novice snorkelers and made us feel at eases getting into the water for the first time. We had so much fun and learned so much. We would’ve gone back for a second time but they were sold out. We will definitely be back for more snorkeling.

My husband and i are ocean lovers and had snorkel tours everywhere (in the US and abroad), but i must say this is THE BEST we've experienced. Capt. Chris and H are so knowledgeable, funny and considerate - they make you so happy even before you can be in the water. Check-in was a breeze. Marina is in a resort that's so pretty and peaceful - even the wait was relaxing and pleasurable. Boat's great and spacious. We always use our own gears, but we saw that those given to the other guests were new and very clean. First aid/emergency kit on board; briefing was extensive and interesting; special attention/helpful info was given to those with no snorkeling experience. Value for money - Christ of the Abyss checked off our bucket list!!! Thank you! They truly know where to bring you (shark, barracudas, stingrays; fish was colorful and bountiful!). Even the views/sceneries to and from the snorkeling areas were fantastic - it's like having a boat tour without paying for it. :) Stop looking around and book with them now!
