This 3+ hour family-owned thoroughbred heritage horse farm tour offers a fun and informative tour that will provide you with a unique experience and take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky’s beautiful Bluegrass Horse Country. This is an interactive tour were you will get to touch and pet some horses.

You will visit a private farm that is exclusive to us and has had winners of both the Preakness and Belmont Stakes and will have two in the Derby this year!

We found this tour to be very informative and fun. We were fortunate to have Nick as our tour guide--an owner and trainer of thoroughbreds. Since our tour was the morning after the Belmont, we were all interested in his take on the race and California Chrome's loss. Even though Keeneland is undergoing a track replacement and no horses are currently stabled there, we still enjoyed a tour and were able to get a sense of the history and excitement of the track. The roads we traveled through the horse farms were beautiful and we loved petting a few babies at some of the farms we visited. We learned so much from Nick about the area, the horse racing industry, and horses in general.

We were picked up at the Embassy Suites exactly on time! That was a good start. Our guide, Dan, was extremely well informed and gave us insights into the raising of thoroughbred horses that complemented then entire experience. We were able to talk with several knowledgeable people at several farms that would allow us to get out of the van for a close up experience. This tour is well worth the cost and you would be remiss in not choosing them.

This tour is the best. Our guide, Matt, was very informative and shared his knowledge of history with us. The van was comfortable and a good way to see the countryside. We saw so many things that we could never have seen just driving around. The farm tour added a personal touch as well. We highly recommend this for anyone, young and old, in the area.
