This is the perfect way for a visitor to get up to speed on the unique thoroughbred culture. The guide doesn't have a script, but is a professional horse trainer with a ton of horse and racing experience. I was able to ask a ton of questions, and came away feeling like an expert about the Lexington farms, thoroughbred horses, and the racing culture. It was such a great experience I'd happily do it again if I'm ever in Lexington.

My two daughters, 9 and 11 and my husband and I took this tour while in Lexington to see the horse park and Old Friends Retirement Farm. All three were wonderful but my husband & I agreed that this was the highlight of the tour. Nick, our guide, a manager of his family's racing stable, knew all things horse related and had fascinating insights into the horse industry, truly what set this apart from anything else we did while in Lexington. Keeneland was stunningly beautiful and the trips through the farms, a visit to Seattle Slew's grave was awe inspiring. My daughter's favorite part( and mine I'll admit) was the close up snuggles with the foals at McPeak's racing stables on Magdalena farm. As owners of a few OTTBs we really appreciated the time and energy Nick put into the tour. Can't wait to watch the Breeder's Cup at Keeneland and say we were there!

Jim J Best tour ever thanks to tour guide, Nick. Thoroughbred 101 education in 3 hours. Van was comfortable. Sites were outstanding, Nick was fantastic. His knowledge, experience and relaxed, honest style of communicating, was refreshing "Let's have a conversation" was Nick's request. We did.Now I want to learn more about thoroughbreds. As a minister and communicator for many years, I commend Nick's talent. Your company is fortunate to have you as a tour guide. Bon chance!!
