Experience why Kentucky's Bluegrass Horse Country is world famous! This 3+ hour family-owned thoroughbred heritage horse farm tour offers a fun and informative tour that will provide you with a unique experience and take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky’s beautiful Bluegrass Horse Country. This is an interactive tour were you will get to touch and pet some horses.

You will visit a private farm that is exclusive to us and has had winners of both the Preakness and Belmont Stakes and will have two in the Derby this year!

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • No food allowed on tour
  • Bottled water or covered drinks allowed
  • Collapsible wheelchairs with can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
  • November 6th - March 18th: Minimum numbers of 4 guests are required to run tour.
  • Under Kentucky law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not have the duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activities. "There are inherent risks of injury that you voluntarily accept if you participate in farm animal activities." "By purchasing ticket/s you agree that Thoroughbred Heritage Tours is not liable for any injuries or death that may occur due to participating in a farm animal activity in Kentucky".

Old Friends at Dream Chase Farm
Take a walking tour to see past racing champions including Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Silver Charm and Belmont winners Sarava and Touch Gold.

Completely enjoyed every minute of the tour. Dan, our guide, entertained us with his great sense of humor and vast knowledge of history and horses. It was fun to see the tracks and visit the beautiful horse farms. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Our deepest appreciation goes to Linda Miano for making room for us (at the last minute) with tour guide Dan! We were in town for the Derby and missed our bus with another tour company. What a blessing it was to experience the Kentucky countryside and horse farms with such a knowledgeable person as Dan!!! Our trip to Kentucky and the Derby would not have been complete without learning the "HORSE" details! Linda is a very gracious lady, and we definitely recommend this company over any others!

This was our fourth tour of the Lexington area horse farms and this tour was by far the best. Our tour guide, Dan, was great, very knowledgeable , high energy, and lots of fun. No question went unanswered. Everyone on our tour seemed to enjoy themselves. Next time we visit Lexington I'm sure we will take the tour again
